It was a huge challenge and honour to be accepted into the FCA’s annual Painting on the Edge International Juried show in Vancouver B.C. – also known as POTE.  Super stiff competition!  Much to my surprise and absolute delight, I was awarded the OPUS Art Supply Award for my painting – A Matter of Substance.

 Thank you OPUS for your kind corporate support of the arts and I will certainly enjoy this award.

MONTREAL BOUND – Two of my newest paintings, “Achy Breaky Heart” and “Piano Man” have been accepted into the 45e Exposition-Concours Annual  – an international juried show taking place at the Ogilvy Centre in Montreal August 15 to 25.

SHOWING IN TORONTO – I’m so excited to have a painting accepted into the Society of Canadian Artists juried annual Members Exhibition being held in Toronto, Ontario.  The show is being held at the Joseph D. Carrier Gallery in North York – a fabulous gallery – and will run from July 11 to August 26, 2013.

1ST PLACE VANCOUVER ABSTRACT SHOW – My painting, MOON OVER FUKUSHIMA, won the 1st place in the2013 Federation of Canadian Artists annual Abstract Art show.  The show took place at the Federation gallery on Granville Island during the month of January, 2013.

 

 

SOCIETY OF CANADIAN ARTISTS  – In October 2012, after submitting a portfolio to the Society of Canadian Artists, I was informed that I was accepted as a member of this wonderful organization. The Society unites artists from Canada’s east coast to the west and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.
